Hornworm Pod complete with food and 12 hornworms. Our Hornworm Pod is designed to last 1-2 weeks (depending on size of Hornworms) with minimal maintenance. Every 3 days or so the hornworm pod should be gripped with one hand and tilted on its side gently tapping the base. This will dislodge hornworm poop causing it to fall to the side, making it easy to dump out of the hornworm pod. Doing this will keep the hornworm food fresh and your hornworms happy.

European Nightcrawlers (Dendrobaena hortensis) Also known as Super Reds are perfect for feeding aquatic fish and amphibians. Particularly popular for feeding Axolotls. These worms are excellent composters for your compost breaking down your compost material and turning it into rich manure for your soil promoting plant health and growth in your garden. European Nightcrawlers are also very commonly used for fishing bait. European Nightcrawlers are the larger cousin of Red Wigglers and can grow to be 4″ or 5″ but are smaller than Canadian Nightcrawlers
