We are committed to delivering healthy, farm-fresh live insects right to your door. Because we ship live cargo, we use precise temperature calculations and strict shipping schedules to ensure your order arrives safely.
🚚 Shipping Methods & Transit Times
We ship Canada-wide using the following reliable services:
⚡ Purolator Express (Overnight Live Guarantee)
    • Schedule: Ships on Tuesdays for a Wednesday arrival (excluding holidays).
    • Rural Exception: If the second character of your postal code is a zero (e.g., S0K 1J0), your address is classified as rural. Rural addresses do not qualify for overnight delivery.

📦 Canada Post Standard Ground
    • Transit Time: 1 to 7 business days.
    • Saskatchewan: Usually arrives overnight or within 2 business days.
    • Alberta & Manitoba: Usually arrives within 2 business days (excluding ship day).
    • Best For: Dry goods Canada-wide, or live insect orders traveling strictly within Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

✈️ Canada Post Express Air
    • Transit Time: 1 to 3 business days (excluding ship day).
    • Best For: Live orders traveling outside of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
    • Temperature Control: Shipments travel via climate-controlled air cabins, minimizing exposure to extreme weather.

To ensure live packages never sit in a courier warehouse over a weekend, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays depending on your location and regional temperatures.

❄️ Weather & Temperature Management
Crickets are highly sensitive to temperature. To protect your live order, Super Cricket Farms performs precise weather calculations along the entire delivery route from our farm to your destination.
    • Custom Packing: We pack all orders according to current weather conditions, adding insulation and heat packs.
    • Extreme Weather Holds: For the safety of the insects, we reserve the right to hold shipments during extreme weather. We define extreme weather as temperatures above 30°C or below -16°C. Held orders will automatically resume the following week, weather permitting.

⚠️ Important Live Arrival Guarantees (DOA Policy)
    • Attendance Required: Someone must be present to accept the delivery. If a package is left unattended on a doorstep or porch, our Live Arrival Guarantee is voided, and we cannot cover Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) claims.
    • Damaged in Transit? If your package appears damaged upon arrival, do not refuse the shipment. Please accept the delivery and contact us immediately so we can arrange a replacement or credit.
