Description

Hornworms are excellent feeder for a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians. Thick and juicy excellent for picky eaters. Hornworms are a Chameleons favorite.

Hornworms will die within a day of running out of food. They will grow the fastest when kept in the low 80s F, but can be kept as low as the mid 50s F to slow growth. Hornworms can also be kept in the fridge (at 45F) for 2 days, then removed for one day, to slow growth. By keeping the Hornworms cooler, you can make a pod last for up to 2 weeks.

Hornworms need a specific food and if they do not eat they will die very quickly.

  1. Worms came 6 were dead and they’re definitely not HAPPY but it’s November. So I’m happy that most arrived alive.
It’s too bad they’re on cartons in a box and not packed in a container with climbing mesh. I guess I’ll buy a batch from my local store (for more money) and then save their packaging.
    Lizard is happy, I’m happy

  2. all aliv when they arrived. packaged perfectly

  3. Excellent quality and size! My beardie loves them

  4. Would appreciate some climbing structure with a batch order as this. But worms were in good health when received.

    • Hi Julianne, your best bet would be to order a pod as they have a climbing structure in them.

  5. They all showed up dead ☹️
