That “egg filler flats” are just the classic cardboard/paper egg-carton-style flats crickets climb on for shelter and surface area. They are not an egg-laying substrate. There’s no moist soil/vermiculite/coco-fiber laying medium in this kit, and no incubation or hatchling-separation setup. So as sold, this kit will keep a batch of feeders alive and fed for weeks — it won’t take you from adults → eggs → next generation.
