Plump, energy-dense, and highly palatable live treats—the ultimate “comfort food” for reptiles, amphibians, and wild birds.
Feeder Wax worms (Galleria mellonella) are premium, soft-bodied larvae renowned for their incredible palatability. Packed with healthy fats and essential moisture, these slow-moving, creamy-white grubs are an irresistible delicacy that effortlessly stimulates the appetite of underweight animals, breeding females, or finicky eaters refusing standard insects.
    • Appetite Booster: Highly enticing to pets, making them the perfect tool to break hunger strikes.
    • Energy-Dense Nutrition: Rich in healthy fats and moisture—ideal for weight gain and post-egglaying recovery.
    • Hassle-Free Handling: Clean, odorless, slow-moving, and completely unable to climb smooth glass or plastic.
    • Perfect For: Bearded dragons, leopard geckos, chameleons, frogs, turtles, and insectivorous wild birds.

Description
Treat your pets to a gourmet, high-energy snack with our premium Feeder Wax worms. Commonly used as a supplemental treat rather than a staple food, these plump, docile caterpillars are the reptile world’s favorite indulgence, offering an easily digestible meal with an enticing texture.
The Ultimate Recovery and Treating Food
Because wax worms are exceptionally rich in fats and lipids, they should be fed out as a treat alongside a balanced staple diet of crickets or roaches. They are highly effective for conditioning breeding female reptiles to help them regain lost weight after laying eggs, boosting juvenile growth spurts, or helping rescued animals recover from malnutrition. Their soft exoskeletons make them incredibly easy to chew and digest, ensuring safe passage with no risk of impaction.
Why Choose Wax worms?
    • Unrivaled Palatability: Even the most stubborn, striking, or sick reptiles that turn their noses up at other live foods will rarely pass up a juicy wax worm.
    • Zero Upkeep: Wax worms enter a natural state of dormancy when stored cool. They require absolutely no food, water, or maintenance while in storage, making them incredibly low-maintenance for keepers.
    • Clean and Gentle: They are completely harmless, cannot bite or scratch your pets, and stay right where you place them in the feeding dish.

💡 Storage & Care Instructions
    • Keep the wax worms in their original container wrapped in the provided organic packing media (such as wood shavings or bran).
    • Store them in a cool, dark location—ideally between 10°C and 15°C (such as a cool basement, wine cooler, or a dark closet corner) to slow down their metabolism and maximize their lifespan.
    • Standard Refrigerator Warning: You can store them in a standard household refrigerator, but place them in the warmest spot (like the door shelves or crisper drawer). If temperatures drop consistently below 5°C, it can shorten their lifespan.
    • Keep Dry: Moisture is fatal to wax worms. Never mist the container or introduce standing water; ensure the bedding stays completely dry to prevent premature spoilage.

The waxworms one container came fine nice a juicy but the second container's shaving were damp . I have remove the bedding of both container's and will replace it with fresh pine pellets tomorrow and I will feed them and keep most of them out of the fridge. I know I won't have them as long but I'm hoping they will eat the food and get plump. I just think the one container got to hot or the whole parcel got too hot. The shaving on the left is the that was damp.
