💡 Pod Care & Temperature Control Instructions
Silkworms grow continuously based on their ambient environment. You can manage their growth rate using basic temperature adjustments:
- To Accelerate Growth: Keep the pod in a warm area between 24°C and 27°C. They will consume the food quickly and reach large sizes in just a few weeks.
- To Slow Down Growth: If the silkworms are reaching the maximum size your pet can safely swallow, move the pod to a cool room or basement at 15°C to 18°C.
- Crucial Handling Tip: Silkworms have delicate immune systems. If you remove them from the pod to feed out later, always wash your hands thoroughly first to avoid transferring harmful bacteria to the culture.
- Warning: Do not place the silkworm pod in a standard household refrigerator, as temperatures below 10°C will quickly kill the worms.

Silkworms arrived good we had 1 casualty but it was to be expected. Besides the 1 on the long journey from Saskatoon to Ontario all other silk worms arrived well very pleased with my order.
All arrived, well packaged and alive. Delivery was to BC.
