Pinheads are newborn crickets, about the size of an ant. Great for the smallest of reptiles and amphibians – baby dart frogs (poison arrow frogs), newborn chameleons, etc. Very small, extremely soft bodies, very easy to digest.
Pinhead live crickets are only 1 to 3 days old.

Super happy with the delivery timeline. This was our first time ordering and my husband opened the box thinking the crickets would be better contained he ended up loosing a few hundred in the house as they were outside the inner box. Maybe a warning sheet in the large box that they are loose inside the secondary box. Again this was our first time ordering as we just got into dart frog keeping. So lesson learned on our part. Will likely order again but will definitely open outside.
Would be 5 but since they were loose in box …so many escaped
Packaged in a loose cardboard box, literally impossible to open without them all escaping
